SM Prime, DTI empower MSMEs with 83 SM mall spaces, training, and mentorship

Good news for Micro-, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs)! SM Prime Holdings (SM Prime) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) solidified a partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony held on July 1 at the SM Prime Headquarters.

This collaboration empowers MSMEs with prime mall space in 83 SM Malls nationwide, aligning with the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Philippines program. Besides providing space, SM Prime offers MSMEs discounted booth rentals, training programs on product development, marketing, financial management, and mentorship opportunities with experienced business leaders.

Mga Pinoy na tambay, lumobo sa 2.11M nu'ng Mayo

Nagpahayag ang Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) ngayong Lunes na umabot sa 2.11-milyong bilang ng mga Pinoy ang walang trabaho nu'ng Mayo ng taong ito mula sa 2.04-milyon nu'ng Abril.

Sa isang press conference, sinabi ni PSA chief at National Statistician Claire Dennis Mapa na naitala ang unemployment rate na 4.1% nu'ng Mayo 2024, na bahagyang mas mataas kaysa sa 4% na naitala nu'ng nakaraang buwan.

Samantala, ang employment rate ng bansa nu'ng Mayo ay umabot sa 95.9%, na mas maayos kumpara sa 95.7% nu'ng Mayo ng nakaraang taon, ngunit mas mababa kaysa sa 96.0% nu'ng Abril 2024.
