Hino Wing Vans with Hino Rear Body to Producers Connection Logistics, Inc. (PCL). 


The turnover ceremony was held at Parañaque City at PCL’s warehouse and was graced by PCL’s President and CEO Arturo E. Villanueva Jr., VP for Finance Dilena I. Dalangiin, Corporate Welfare and Development Head Cesar D. Romero, Supply Chain and Business Operations Head Ariel C. Dote, Business Development and Marketing Head Willord E. Ordiales, Equipment and Facility Head Ericson Ver Y. Gonzales, and Finance Deputy, Rose Ann G. Capundag. The turnover marks a significant milestone in the partnership between the two companies.


PCL has consistently demonstrated its commitment to developing strong relationships with customers and business partners, hence this recent acquisition of Hino Wing Vans. This dedication has fueled their growth and established them as a preferred choice in product handling, distribution, transportation, warehouse, energy management, and other logistics-related services. The addition of these Hino Wing Vans to their fleet will further enhance their operational capabilities and service offerings.

Mr. Glenn Patricio the newly appointed board member of Movie, Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) is one of Marcos Administration's youngest appointees.


Mr. Patricio took his oath of office on July 22, 2024 before MTRCB Chairwoman Diorella Maria “Lala” Sotto-Antonio.



It marked the beginning of his important role in overseeing and enhancing the standards of film and television contents in the Philippines.


Prior to his appointment, Mr. Patricio enjoyed a successful career in business, where he honed his skills in management and strategic planning.

His background as an administrative consultant at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has also provided him with invaluable experience in navigating the complexities of government operations and public service.


His insights gained in the private sector and government, will be instrumental as the MTRCB continues to evolve in this fast-paced digital age.


Expressing his gratitude and commitment, Mr. Patricio stated, “I am incredibly grateful for the trust and support they placed on me. It is a great privilege to be part of this team, and I am committed to contributing towards our shared goals of excellence of programming in TV and cinema, and the Philippine media as a whole.”

Pinatupad ng PhilHealth ang pagtataas sa Case Rates noong Pebrero 14, 2024, kasabay ng ika-29 anibersaryo nito. Bilang suporta sa mga mamamayang apektado ng pagtaas ng mga presyo dahil sa inflation, minarapat ng ahensyang i-adjust ang halaga ng mga benefit packages nito matapos ang isang dekada. Ang mga ito ay magagamit sa lahat ng PhilHealth-accredited facilities sa bansa – mula sa Levels 1-3 hospitals hanggang sa mga infirmaries at animal bite package providers.


Magkano na ngayon ang halaga ng Case Rates?


Halimbawa, ang pakete sa emphysema ay dating P11,400. Kapag dinagdagan ng 30% nito o P3,420 ay P14,820 na. Ganoon din sa iba pang inpatient at outpatient cases.


Pero dapat tandaan na hindi na i-a-adjust ang mga benepisyong na-adjust na sa nakalipas na limang taon tulad ng hemodialysis na kamakailan lang ay itinaas sa P4,000 ang coverage kada session mula sa dating P2,600. Pati narin iyong mga pinag-aaralang palakihin at mga bagong benefit package tulad Outpatient Mental Health Benefits Package.


Paalala pa ng PhilHealth, na hindi dapat singilin ng dagdag-bayad ang pasyente kapag siya ay na-confine o ginamot sa public/ward accommodation ng pampubliko o pribadong pasilidad. Ibig sabihin, sagot na ng Case Rates ang kabuuang hospital bill.

Magkakaroon lang ng dagdag bayarin kapag pinili ng pasyenteng ma-confine sa private room at gumamit ng mga serbisyong hindi kailangan para gamutin ang kaniyang karamdaman.


Makaaasa ang lahat ng Filipino na patuloy ang ginagawang pagpapabuti ng inyong PhilHealth sa National Health Insurance Program para masiguro ang kapanatagan ng loob ng lahat kapag humaharap sa gastusing medikal.
