Nakikipag-ugnayan na umano sa Netflix ang direktor ng hit series Squid Game na si Hwang Dong Hyuk tungkol sa ikalawa at ikatlong season nito.

“I think we’ll be reaching some sort of conclusion [to our discussions] soon," ani Hwang Dong Hyuk sa isang pahayag. "We know that many people are waiting, so everyone is working hard to prepare for the next season with a positive outlook."

Ayon pa sa direktor, iikot ang season 2 sa karakter ni Lee Jung Jae na si Seong Gu Hun tungkol sa pagtuklas sa mga misteryo ng organisasyon na nasa likod ng mga deadly games.

"The overarching plotline of Season 2 will be the story of the people that Gi Hun meets and the people he chases after," aniya.

Matatandaang nangako si Hwang Dong Hyuk na magkakaroon ng season 2 ang hit show, at ayon pa sa report ng Soompi, posibleng magkaroon pa ito ng third season.

"It’s true that we are discussing a wide variety of possibilities for 'Squid Game,' including the production of a Season 3, but nothing has yet been set in stone," pahayag nila.

Simula nang i-release ang “Squid Game” noong Setyembre ay tinagurian na itong Netflix’s biggest show.

UDD vocalist Armi Millare, kumalas na sa banda

Inanunsiyo ng bandang UDD o kilala sa dating pangalan na Up Dharma Down na umalis na sa banda ang bokalista nito na si Armi Millare.

Nitong Disyembre 26, ibinahagi ng banda sa publiko na kumalas na sa banda si Millare noon pang Hunyo matapos ding umalis sa Terno recordings.

“Last June, I decided to sever ties with Terno Recordings, its mother company MTME and as a consequence of this, my band, UDD. For the last 17 years, I have experienced and learned so much in the company of my bandmates along with every person we have had the pleasure of interacting with,” pahayag ni Millare sa Instagram.

"UDD has remained my longest relationship—one that I've tried to keep sacred and tried to preserve with the principles I have upheld from the moment I learned that I had a dream: that one day I would be in that one band I would dedicate my life to."

“I see that there was more progress than perfection during our time together and I'm willing to let it end where it has. We had a good run”, dagdag pa niya.

Sa isang interview, ipinaliwanag ng singer/songwriter ang dahilan ng kanyang pag-alis sa banda at sa kanyang label.

“I was very young when I signed with the label; I was barely in my twenties and just wanted a record out. As I got older, I started to become more concerned about many things artists are not privy to. But my loyalty was always with UDD," ani Millare.

"But if anyone ever said anything about the band, I’d be the first person to defend it. Because that was my castle – that’s where I lived and ate. I knew what it took to get to where we got. It was a lot of work.”

Sinabi rin niya na marami siyang realizations dahil sa pandemya: “[The pandemic] changed my perspective on what matters: things like quality of life, overall satisfaction, moral standards – like how much integrity matters to some of us, and how little time we actually have left.”

Ipinaliwanag din ni Millare ang dahilan kung bakit siya umalis sa kanilang label na Terno Recordings.

"I loved every bit of what we did together, but we were doing it waytoo much," she shared. "I felt very responsible for everybody even when I was unwell. And many times I was unwell.”

"I didn't know any better until I just felt my body literally giving up."

Ang UDD na binubuo nina Millare, drummer Ean Mayor, lead guitarist Carlos Tañada at bassist Paul Yap, ay nabuo noong 2004 at nakapag-release ng apat na album na may mga kantang nagpasikat sa kanila tulad ng Oo, Pag-agos, Tadhana, Sana, at Sigurado.

Parokya ni Edgar, maglalabas ng bagong album

Inanunsiyo ni Chito Miranda na may bagong song album ang banda niyang Parokya ni Edgar.

Ang album ay tatawaging "Borbolen."

Ayon kay Chito, ilan sa mga kanta sa bagong album ay isinulat nila matapos na ilabas ang album nila na "Pogi Years Old," limang taon na ang nakararaan habang ang ibang kanta sa "Borbolen" ay ginawa nila ngayong panahon ng pandemic.

"'Yung iba, sinulat at ni-record namin during the pandemic and was recorded and mixed via email and Google Drive," aniya. "Kumbaga pasahan lang ng files."

Kabilang din sa ilalabas nilang kanta ay kasama dapat noong inilabas ang album na “Bigotilyo” ngunit hindi pinayagan noong taong iyon.
