Ito ay inanunsiyo ng Miss World 2021 organizers dahil umano sa "health and safety interest of contestants, staff, crew and general public."

"After meeting with the virologists and medical experts hired to oversee the Miss World 2021 event and discussing with the Puerto Rico Health Department, the decision has been made by the organizers of the event to postpone the globally broadcast finale at the Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot to be held within the next 90 days," pahayag ng organizers sa isang statement.

"As of yesterday, additional safety measures were implemented in the best interest of the contestants, production team and spectators, understanding the event increased risks on the stage and in the dressing room. However, after additional positive cases were confirmed this morning after consulting with health officials and experts, the postponement decision was made," dagdag pa nito.

“We are very much looking forward to the return of our contestants, (who we have grown to know and love), to compete for the Miss World crown,” ani Julia Morley, CEO ng Miss World Ltd. Puerto Rico offers a safe environment and a spectacular backdrop for filming the Miss World Festival!”

Itinanghal na 1st runner-up si Miss Paraguay habang si Miss South Africa placed as the 2nd runner-up.

Well I think the biggest pressure the youth of today is facing is to believe in themselves to know that you are unique and that’s what makes you beautiful. Stop comparing yourselves with others and let’s talk about more important things happening worldwide. Come out and speak for yourself because you are the leader of your life. You are the voice of your own. I believed in myself and that’s why I’m standing here today.

Congratulations, Miss India for a well-deserved win!

I believe that public health is everyone’s responsibility and to mandate vaccine and occulation is necessary.

And if mandating vaccine passport would help us in regulating and the roll outs of vaccine and mitigate the situation of the pandemic today then I would agree on mandating the necessary passport of vaccination.”

We are proud of you, Beatrice!
