Dating POA president, inendorso bilang DOH chief

Inendorso ng Philippine Orthopaedic Association (POA) ang kanilang dating presidente para maging susunod na kalihim ng Department of Health (DOH).

Sa isang statement of support, sinabi ni POA president Frederic Joseph Diyco na pinamunuan ni Dr. Jose Pujalte ang POA sa kabila ng mga hamon at kaguluhan sa panahon ng kanyang termino bilang pangulo ng kanilang organisasyon.

“As Medical Chief of the Philippine Orthopedic Center, he has steered the institution to newer heights through vast improvements and projects making this the Apex Center for Orthopedics in the country,” ani Diyco.

“With his vast experience, the POA believes that having Dr. Pujalte at the helm of the Department of Health will ensure continuous improvement in the health system of the Philippines,” dagdag ni Diyco.

Samantala, wala pang napipili si President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. para maging DOH secretary sa ilalim ng kanyang administrasyon.

Sinabi naman ni outgoing DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III na lahat ng potential secretaries ay mahuhusay at kwalipikado sa posisyon, subalit tumanggi itong magbigay ng pangalan.
