Hello, Bulgarians! Muling pinagtibay ng Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) ang kanilang pangako para sa quality management at risk-based thinking sa business process dahil sa International Standardization Organization (ISO) 9001:2015 ng SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. (SCPI).
Ang recertification na ito ay ibinigay noong January 23, 2020 na valid hanggang January 11, 2023 na subject to satisfactory surveillance audits.
Habang nag-o-audit ang SOCOTEC noong December 16 hanggang 19, 2019 ay sinuri rin ang gaming operations, Casino Licensing and Regulation and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Nakapailalim sa recertification na ito ang PAGCOR Corporate Offices (Ermita, Malate at Pasay), Casino Filipino (CF) Tagaytay at ang dalawang newly certified na nasa CF Angeles (main) at Citystate Satellite.
Mas upgraded sa ISO 9001:2008 ang 9001:2015 dahil kasama na rito ang adoption of risk-based thinking in management and business processes, involvement of top management, assessment at measurement of inputs and outputs of a business process.
Ito ay tinanggap ni PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Andrea D. Domingo kasama ang mga members ng Board at sinabing ito ay ipinagmamalaki ng ahensiya dahil ito ay isang patunay sa mahusay nitong pagpapatakbo.
“This means we are doing our job well, our current system works and we strictly follow the processes. But we will not stop here. We will continue to work hard and improve so we could contribute more to our nation,” sabi ni Domingo.
Bukod sa PAGCOR, ilang government agencies din ay ISO 9001:2015 certified na tulad ng Department of Energy (DOE), Governance Commission for GOCCs, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) at Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA).
