Lee Seung Gi at Jasper Liu, naging super close dahil magkasamang kumain at matulog

Naging napakaganda ng feedback ng viewers sa bagong Netflix variety show na Twogether starring South Korea’s top star, Lee Seung Gi and Taiwanese actor Jasper Liu, kaya naman parehong masayang-masaya ang dalawang aktor.
Ang Twogether ay isang travel-reality show na kasalukuyang napapanood sa Netflix. Sa nasabing show, Seunggi and Jasper travelled to six Asian cities (they filmed the show last year) para i-meet ang kanilang mga fans, pero kailangan muna nilang makumpleto ang kanilang misyon bago nila makita ang kanilang mga tagahanga.
Two days after Netflix released the show on June 26 ay nasa Top 10 na agad ito sa 8 countries kabilang na ang Pilipinas.
Pahayag ni Seunggi sa online interview sa kanya last July 3, “I’m honored and grateful (that the show is performing well). Through Netflix, the show premiered in 190 countries at the same time. I’m grateful that people showed their love for content that has a different language and culture from theirs. I’m glad that something we worked so hard on had good results.”
It’s interesting to note na magkaibang lahi sina Jasper at Seunggi (but of the same age) kaya naman marami ang curious na makita kung paano sila mag-interact sa isa’t isa. At ito rin talaga ang isa sa main attractions ng show.
“At first, it was awkward. We had to do a show together, but we couldn’t communicate, so we didn’t know how to approach each other. But we naturally became close while traveling together, sleeping together, eating together, and doing missions and meeting fans together.
“When we parted at the airport, we hugged with the mindset that we wanted to see each other again. Our last mission was in Korea. I introduced him to some good places and food and he said that he would like to travel in Korea more,” pahayag pa ni Lee Seung Gi.
Ayon pa sa Triple Threat Superstar ng South Korea, hindi niya naramdaman ang language barrier sa pagitan nila at nag-enjoy silang pareho during filming.
Ayon naman sa panayam kay Jasper last July 6, dati pa niyang napapanood si Lee Seung Gi sa mga projects nito at ito ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit pumayag siyang gawin ang show bukod pa nga sa gusto niya ang konsepto.
“I really liked the concept of traveling all over Asia and meeting fans. I also enjoyed watching Lee Seung Gi’s projects, and after hearing that the production staff of Running Man is producing Twogether, I decided to star on the show regardless of the difficulties,” sey ni Jasper.
When asked to reveal some of Lee Seung Gi’s charms, ani Jasper, “Lee Seung Gi is charming in so many ways. He is a person with a lot of strengths. He’s brave, knows how to make everyone around him relax, and he’s smart.”
Dagdag pa niya, “Lee Seung Gi has such a good memory that he will remember something he hears once. It’s hard to pick just one thing because he is good at acting and singing, and there is nothing he can’t do.”
Tulad ni Lee Seung Gi, aniya ay nag-enjoy din siya doing the show.
“Even while we were taking on our missions during the show, we complemented one another well. There were instances toward the middle where we had different opinions, but that didn’t become a problem,” ani Jasper.
Inamin din niya na nagsilbing teacher sa kanya si Seunggi (who has done so many variety shows) at napakarami raw niyang natutunan dito.
Dahil nga nagustuhan at nag-enjoy ang manonood sa show, marami ang humihiling ng Season 2 at ayon kay Lee Seung Gi ay willing naman siya pero sa sitwasyon nga natin ngayon ay mahirap daw magsalita nang tapos tungkol dito.
“I would like for the discussions to happen soon, but due to the unfortunate situation all over the world, it's not easy to travel. I would really like to do Season 2, but I think it's difficult to say anything concrete officially. When the situation gets better, I would like to travel together and make new memories as soon as possible,” sey ni Seunggi.
