May alternatibong protective barrier para sa mga couples na nakamotorsiklo sa Davao City.
Batay sa Memorandum Order No. 017-2020 na nilagdaan ni Mayor Sara Duterte, susuutin lamang ng drayber ang naturang barrier design na tulad ng backpack na hindi lalagpas sa ulo nito. Bukod sa nasabing harang, kailangan ding magsuot ng face mask at crash helmet para sa couples na sasakay ng motorsiklo.
“In view of the above requirements, it seems that the relationship between the driver and the passenger is inconsequential given that these will be the same requirements that will be required for other individuals unrelated to each other. Please allow maximum tolerance in this regard,” nakasaad sa memorandum.
