Gaya ng dati, muling rumesponde si Justin Brownlee para isalba ang Barangay Ginebra para matakasan ang mahigpit na karibal na si Allen Durham at Meralco Bolts, 104-103, sa PBA Governors’ Cup sa Smart Araneta Coliseum nitong Sabado ng gabi.


Naging balikatan ang labanan gaya ng inaasahan pero gaya ng kanyang nakagawian, muling bumida si Brownlee para isalba ang kanyang koponan.


Sariwa pa sa alaala ng PBA fans ang kabayanihang ginawa ni Brownlee kung saan ipinukol niya ang buzzer-beating three-point shot noong 2016 Governors’ Cup sa unang beses na nagkaharap ang Ginebra at Meralco sa best-of-seven championship series, pero tila nanumbalik sa memorya ng mga taga-Barangay Ginebra ang emosyonal at dramatikong panalong iyon.


Si Brownlee na naman ang siyang gumiya sa kanyang koponan kung saan ang kanyang step back three-point shot sa huling 10 segundo ng laban ang nagbalik trangko para sa Barangay Ginebra. Pero kinailangan ng Gin Kings ang solidong depensa sa huling opensiba ng Bolts bago tuluyang maitakas ang panalo.


Dahil sa panalo, lumapit ang Ginebra patungo sa Final 4 matapos maiposte ang 2-0 na kalamangan sa best-of-five series. Nais isara ng Ginebra ang serye sa Lunes kung saan tangka nilang walisin ang Meralco.


“We jumped on to the broad shoulders of Justin. He had done that many times in the past,” ang sabi ni Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone. “But we also have some realization that we can’t do that every night. We need to do better in our next game. But tonight, it’s Justin’s night.” Kumana ng 39 puntos si Brownlee, kabilang dito ang isang three-point shot.

As part of its commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and spreading happiness, Aice has continuously rallied behind the Olympic athletes, aiming to inspire unity and pride within the Filipino community.

May mga kumakalat na tsismis na nanindigan umano ang kumpanya ng Milo na hindi na raw i-renew ang kontrata ni Carlos Yulo bilang isa sa mga endorsers nito.


Modelo ng naturang energy drink brand ang Olympics medalist for quite a time pero kung kailan naman naging gold medalist ito ay saka pa raw pinalitan bilang main endorser.


Ayon sa mga naglabasang tsika sa socmed (social media), lubos daw ang kalungkutan ng naturang brand dahil sa naging gusot ni Caloy sa kanyang pamilya.


Hindi umano magandang ehemplo ang naturang ‘bangayan’ ng magkakapamilya, kaya’t minabuti nilang hindi na ito i-renew at kumuha ng mas higit na nararapat para sa brand.


At si EJ Obiena nga ang kinuha nilang bagong endorser dahil sa napakapositibo nitong imahe, magandang relasyon sa pamilya at higit ang pagiging larawan nito bilang isang manlalaro na kahit walang gintong medalya ay nagtataglay ng mga magagandang katangian.

Buong-giting itong sinagot ng aming source na, “Of course. Consistent ‘yun at meron talagang trust fund para sa mga anak n’ya.”
