Gideon Peña and si Batangas Vice-Governor Mark Leviste.

Gideon.

“@attygideon & I have both gotten our first doses of our vaccine. My doctors chose AstraZeneca as my safest option. But we are still masked and we’re all taking the necessary precautions (new cases reported today are still 5,177),” panimula ng caption ni Kris sa ipinost niyang piktyur on her socmed accounts.

“Thanks for posting this. At least people would have more confidence on the vaccine. Thanks for using your platform to educate and influence!”

“K. Salamat.”

‘Yung ibang netizens, bumilib kay Kris dahil ‘di na siya naging choosy on what vaccine to take at mas nag-rely sa advice ng kanyang doktor.

“Omg!!! This is a big help for promotion of vaccine especially to those na feeling mayaman, ayaw ng Astra kasi gusto ng Pfizer at Moderna! Thanks Krissy, we’ll post this on FB!! This will be a big help to encourage the community!”

“Most of wealthy Asians fly to the US to get the vaccine Pfizer or Moderna... that’s what I heard.”

“Thank you for the visit & the food vice gov @markleviste, although I believe you should get your vaccine soonest because you’re not just protecting yourself, you must get your vaccine for the safety of your constituents, friends, family, and loved ones. Agree?”

“Sir Mark I think you and @krisaquino are going to be a good couple….if ever."

“Oh, my!! In the company of two admirers!?”

“Hala, Ms. Kris si Vice-Gov. ba ng Batangas (from Lipa po ako, hehe) or si Atty? Hehehe! Haba ng hair. Hehe! I love you, Ms. Kris.”

Aba, kapag nagkatuluyan sina Kris at VG Leviste, eh, may Star for All Seasons na ang Batangas, may Queen of All Media pa, ha?

Ipinagdiriwang ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) ang Pride Month sa pamamagitan ng 2nd PelikuLAYA: LGBTQIA+ Film Festival online from June 4 to 30 na may theme na Sama-Sama, Lahat Rarampa!

Ang pag-oorganisa ng FDCP ng filmfest ay para lalo pang ma-empower ang members ng LGBTQIA+ community through a lineup of local and international films, lectures and film talks, a drag yoga event, and musical performances.

Ayon kay FDCP Chairperson Liza Diño-Seguerra, “The Film Development Council of the Philippines is relaunching PelikuLAYA this year as an annual LGBTQIA+ film festival organized by the national government as our way to express our continued support for gender equality and inclusivity by creating platforms to bring to light the struggles, celebrate the achievements, and champion the causes of the LGBTQIA+ community.”

As we all know, ang kanyang partner at mister na si Ice Seguerra ay isang LGBTQIA+ member.

So, si Ice po, more than a year na rin pong walang work. So, we’re both, you know, finding way to maintain and sustain our life and ano po… so, when it happens, it happens. Ayoko na lang pong magsalita.

"But of course, it’s always in our plans po. Kaso, magpo-40 na po ako ngayong June. Hahaha! This is my birthday month po.”

And speaking of baby, tinanong namin kay Chair Liza kung matatanggap ba niya na magkaroon din ng karelasyong member ng LGBTQIA+ ang unica hija niyang si Amara.

“Oh, yeah. Sobra! If there’s one thing that I have with my daughter is honestly… Uh, it’s not in my place to actually, you know, share with everyone how she identifies, but I think it’s in her page, hihihi! (on her) Facebook page. And I fully support that.

“I love my daughter because she knows who she is. She’s not gonna be one of those kids who experienced gender dysphoria, because hindi nila alam kung paano sila, how can they be competence with their identity.

“I know for sure that my daughter, we know, that our daughter is in a place, a safe place, where she could be anything she wants to be. And she could be whoever she wants to be.

“And, uh, I know my daughter’s orientation. And I fully support that, and it’s normal thing for us to discuss inside the house. And for me, ganyan na rin po ang mga kabataan natin ngayon, na-normalize na nila ‘yung conversation. Meron silang mga terms like “rookie(???)” and all that. And I am just so amazed by that kind of normal conversations they have about being LGBT. They actually say, 'Everybody’s gay.' Hahahaha!”

Trese-anyos na raw si Amara at nakikita niya ang kanyang anak with her friends/classmates who identifies as transmen.

“Siya talaga ‘yung very adamant to show respect by referring to individuals by their names.

Mukhang nakapagpahinga na nang husto si Rabiya when she was being interviewed by Kuya Boy.

Wala na raw kasi siyang nararamdamang pressure and she's having the best of her life now.

Tinanong ni Kuya Boy si Rabiya kung ano ang most important lesson na natutunan niya on her Miss Universe journey.

"Maybe to enjoy the moment. Sometimes, I do think what's gonna happen tomorrow? How was I able to perform without, you know, enjoying the present? Enjoying today. So, that's my greatest take away, Tito Boy," lahad ni Rabiya.

Inamin din ni Rabiya that she loves herself even better now.

"What I've been through was never easy. I know it's gonna be hard, but not as hard as what happened in the competition. It 's a test of character and test of faith. From the moment I won Miss Universe-Philippines up until, you know, the Miss Universe competition, binugbog ako emotionally, mentally.

"But I tried to be strong. I tried to hold myself together, and because of that, kahit hindi ko na marinig sa ibang tao, ako na mismo ang magsasabi sa sarili ko, you did a great job," pahayag niya.

Because it's not, dahil ako si Rabiya Mateo, it's because I'm Miss Universe-Philippines. At hindi lang dahil ako lang 'to. Lahat, lahat ng mga candidates natin, they've been in this kind of position. So, for someone who is so naive in this industry, imagine, that was my first time to join a national competition.

"Kahit sinasabi nila you need to be prepared for this, for that, once nandoon ka sa point na 'yun, magugulat ka pa rin. Like, the moment I won, I didn't have that sweet victory. The day I was crowned, that joy was taken away from me. I wanna be emotional right now, Tito Boy.

Kaya tuloy nagmukhang outfit for a Victoria Secret fashion show.

That was the first time lang pala na sinukat ni Rabiya ang head piece.

Pero baka raw after two years, if ever na mag-decide siya na sumali sa Miss World.

Why not? Join lang nang join, gurl.
