Trillanes aminadong siya ang humarang na maisama si Colmenares sa senate slate

Aminado si dating Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV na siya nga ang tumutol sa pagsama kay Makabayan chair Neri Colmenares sa Senate slate ni presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo.

"Definitely, it's true that I was the one who opposed his entry primarily for the fact that the Makabayan bloc has yet to openly support and endorse the candidacy of Robredo," ani Trillanes.

Ayon naman kay Colmenares, wala pa silang natatanggap na anumang imbitasyon mula sa kampo ni Robredo kahit isa siya sa mga pinagpipilian para sa huling bakanteng puwesto sa Senate slate.

Kasabay nito, nanawagan si Colmenares sa mga supporter na tigilan na muna ang siraan at bangayan.

"We told, at least those members of Makabayan, to tone it down because we need to unify the opposition... And this kind of atmosphere is not conducive to that," ani Colmenares.
