Indonesia, hindi magpapadala ng pambato sa Miss Universe 2021

Inanunsiyo ng Puteri Indonesia Foundation na hindi sila magpapadala ng representative sa Miss Universe ngayong taon.

Sa statement na inilabas nito sa kanilang Instagram account, sinabi ng foundation na ang desisyon ay dahil sa kakulangan sa preparasyon at local COVID-19 restrictions.

Gayunman, kasalukuyan pa rin silang nagsasagawa ng selection process sa ilang probinsiya sa Indonesia.

“We look forward to participating again in next year’s edition of the Miss Universe Pageant," pahayag nila.

“The Puteri Indonesia Foundation wishes the 70th Miss Universe Competition and all the delegates great success. May the best candidate win the coveted title, and continue to inspire all women in their communities," dagdag pa nito.
